So this week, some memorable highlights:
Snow in Montpellier!

Trust me, would Sasha be this excited if there wasn't really snow?!

So cold that day!
Christmas lights and festivities in Montpellier, absolutely beautiful. What is it about dark evenings, cold weather and old buildings, that make Christmas seem so different and special?!

Place de la Comedie, the main square L'Opera Montpellier
in Montpellier

Standing in front of the gateway to Les Hivernales, the Christmas markets
The boys want to go ice-skating, but I'm the one lacking courage. But as a friend said to me, when will they have the chance again to skate outdoors…and in France I guess?! Good point. Bon courage Maman!
Wow, aerial view of the Christmas markets last Sunday. Pleased to report all children held hands and are accounted for!

Some of the beautiful alleyways/rues in the old city of Montpellier.

I am squatting slightly, and haven't brushed my hair. Sasha, as gorgeous as ever, and holding my bottle of rose! This is rue Saint Guilheim, the Edney's main thoroughfare to our apartment
While the mornings and evenings are becoming very cold, the sun in Montpellier still shines brightly and sets beautifully most days…
The view from Park Peyrou, our local park
Walking home from the tramstop after baseball, the bridge near Park Peyrou

This is our street, and that's our apartment a few doors up on the left. We love the "blue" house, home of my french teacher

Heading off with Mum to practice some pitching and catching in the park. J'aime le baseball!
Un petit cafe set up to accommodate outside patrons..I love it!
My favourite statue, and artistic photo opportunity! Taken today, Tuesday lunchtime, as the kids played tiggy, a truly universal game, played in any language!
